Ayda Demirci : Two Series

In this exhibition, Ayda Demirci focused on two small series. The first one consists of paintings created from plantae forms, measuring 24 × 21 cm. The second series measures 29.7 × 21 cm. Created with reference to a standard paper size, this series served as a field of line-based exploration. In addition to these two series, which serve as the starting point of the exhibition, there are also several works outside the series that are related to these paintings.

The artist creates abstract compositions by following nature and light in her paintings. “Two Series” brings together oil paintings on linen and paper. The exhibition will be on view at Ambidexter from May 7 to June 13, 2026.
