Defne Cemal

Defne Cemal was born in 1997 in İstanbul. After completing her high school education in Enka Schools, she enrolled in New York University and will complete her BFA, majoring in Studio Art in the spring of 2019. Having attended college, despite of pursuing her passion in illustration and drawing, Defne became a multi-media artist who explores painting, poetry, video, ceramics and performance.
